Someone very important in my life once told me that if you're going to make art about women, then make it for women. I learned that if you like women then you need to help them protect their bodies and their right to an abortion if they want or need one. Help me reach my goal of $500 for the National Network of Abortion Funds by donating to this fundraiser or buying a print of this work here on www.api-rats.com. All proceeds will go directly to this fundraiser. The NNAF is a network of almost 100 independent abortion funds that work to remove financial and logistical barriers to abortion access. They fight to ensure that everyone has access to all reproductive choices by providing support and financial assistance to organizations working to help people seek abortions.

I enjoy making drawings of women's figures so this is one of my ways of giving back to the people that make it possible to do so. It makes me angry to think about how men are using the inauguration as an opportunity to put women down and make them feel like they aren't in control of their bodies. If this bothers you too, this is an opportunity to be one of the good guys today. It's not much but small gestures like this one add up. All of the small things come together to make the world a better place.
