I used to, and still, love drawing elephants in this way. And sure I sneak an elephant here and there but I rarely draw elephants because I hadn't been able to work them into this obscure style. Though a smoking elephant shows how my once innocent mind has become corrupted. Things that used to be fun need a little extra umph. Same things just aren't as cool anymore. The hat represents how that once innocent part of me thought smoking was cool. But hey this guy was "the elephant in the room 1991" so he must have been cool. Right?
